Stephen MalkmusDanny Noonan and I are rolling out the red carpet and heading over to the 2007 Plug Awards hosted by David Cross (who I bumped into fairly recently at the world famous Cherry Tavern). Anyway, Stephen Malkmus will be playing. So, get your tickass boys and ghouls! Oh, it's at Irving Plaza.

UPDATE: 

The rumormill tells me, "Basically from what I heard, all the other bands play about 15 minutes, some indie music awards are given out by david cross, and then Malkmus plays for about an hour." Malkmus is playing at Maxwell's the next day on Sunday. The shit sold out in a day.

    Between Bars and I went to this last year, to see ted leo. he played for 15mins, but did the best ballad of sin eater i ever heard him do. dunno its pretty crappy standing around for 20 mins to see someone play for 15. who are these other bands? on + side, last year we were stuck in webster hall so that had a huge effect on the suck factor.
